Paige Sullivan was born, raised, and educated in Georgia. She completed her B.A. at Agnes Scott College and earned her M.F.A. at Georgia State University, writing a thesis under the direction of the late David Bottoms. While at Georgia State, she served as an assistant editor of Five Points and the poetry editor of New South. She’s received support from the Kentucky Women Writers Conference, the Tin House Winter Workshop, and the Poetry Foundation's Poetry Incubator. In addition to essays, articles, and book reviews, her poetry has appeared in The Journal, Ninth Letter, American Literary Review, BOOTH, and other journals.
Her work has been nominated for Best New Poets and the Pushcart Prize, and her manuscripts have been semifinalists or finalists in contests hosted by Rabbit Catastrophe Press, Gold Wake Press, and YesYes Books. Poems from a collaborative chapbook project, DUETS, co-authored with the poet Andrea Rogers Patton, were published in THEY SAID: A Multi-Genre Anthology of Contemporary Collaborative Writing (Black Lawrence Press, 2018).
By day, she’s a communications professional at a local community foundation, and in her free time, she’s an avid reader, active community volunteer, and beginner ballet dancer. She lives in metro Atlanta with her spouse and a collection of rescue pets.
